چکیده

ToMorrow We'll be Sober. It was not until a SubCommittee on Alcoholism was set up by the World Health Organisation in 1951, that the size of the problem throughout the world became apparent, even to the experts themselves. Hitherto the alcoholic had been hardly worthy of serious scientific study, being regarded by the medical profession as well as by lay people as the subject of moral weakness rather than as a victim of a disease and as such, deserving of being treated as a sick person by his relatives, friends and doctor. The effects of alcoholism are far-reaching and affect not only the patient himself but also his wife, children and other members of the family, and indeed anyone who comes into contact with him whether in the home, at work or during his leisure hours. In many countries it is a major public health problem. Dr. Lincoln William's book is lucidly written and gives a clear picture of the problem of the alcoholic and alcoholism, including an outline of modern methods of treatment. The sections dealing with the evolution of the alcoholic and the distinction between the alcoholic and the heavy drinker are particularly well done. This is a book which can be recommended with confidence to the potential patient as it should help him to gain insight into his condition, to the patient's relatives who will learn that he is someone to be treated and not despised, and finally to his family doctor.

ON Q-BITOPOLOGICAL SPACES

We study here $T_{0}$-$Q$-bitopological spaces and sober $Q$-bitopological spaces and their relationship with two particular Sierpinski objects in the category of $Q$-bitopological spaces. The epireflective hulls of both these Sierpinski objects in the category of $Q$-bitopological spaces turn out to be the category of $T_0$-$Q$-bitopological spaces. We show that only one of these Sierpinski ob...

Three Graceful Operations

A graph of size n is said to be graceful when is possible toassign distinct integers from {0, 1, . . . , n} to its verticesand {|f(u)−f(v)| : uv ∈ E(G)} consists of n integers. Inthis paper we present broader families of graceful graphs; these families are obtained via three different operations: the third power of a caterpillar, the symmetric product of G and K2 , and the disjoint union of G a...

Constructing Graceful Graphs with Caterpillars

A graceful labeling of a graph G of size n is an injective assignment of integers from {0, 1,..., n} to the vertices of G, such that when each edge of G has assigned a weight, given by the absolute dierence of the labels of its end vertices, the set of weights is {1, 2,..., n}. If a graceful labeling f of a bipartite graph G assigns the smaller labels to one of the two stable sets of G, then f ...

Algebraic Attacks on SOBER-t32 and SOBER-t16 without Stuttering

This paper presents algebraic attacks on SOBER-t32 and SOBER-t16 without stuttering. For unstuttered SOBER-t32, two different attacks are implemented. In the first attack, we obtain multivariate equations of degree 10. Then, an algebraic attack is developed using a collection of output bits whose relation to the initial state of the LFSR can be described by low-degree equations. The resulting s...
